White Sands Balloon & Music Festival

Think good old-fashioned country music, the magical colors of hot air balloons rising above the Tularosa Basin landscape and family festivities for all.   And then there’s the food, beverages, and fun that includes corn hole tournaments and so much more during the White Sand Balloon and Music Festival.

Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition

No need to head to Rome this fall when you can take a short drive from your home at Cantera and view the world-renown work of Michelangelo.  This exclusive collection of the artist’s ceiling frescoes allows you to see the 34 magnificent works through an interpretive presentation of “Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition.”  Among the collection are world-renowned pieces like The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgement.  As the promoters note “Paired with an audio narrative, this experience is unlike the one experienced in Rome. Patrons can take the show one painting at a time and will walk away enlightened and inspired by this exciting exhibition.

El Paso Fall Home & Garden Show

Fall is the perfect time to set aside some time to get your home ready for the holidays.  When you attend the annual Home and Garden show in El Paso, you will leave with lots of innovative ideas to brighten-up your home for events to come.  We always head to the booths that show the latest and greatest in gourmet kitchen cookware and accessories.   Here you can meet and chat with experts in the culinary field who are highlighting the newest recipes, gadget, and gifts in the business.  
There’s always a cozy corner displaying an assortment of luxury bedding and comfortable concepts to enhance your bedroom and living areas, too.
The kids will have fun too, as Better Homes and Gardens producers offer creative concerts to keep the little ones enjoying the show as well.  This year they have planned a “Make and Take” planting project courtesy of El Paso Master Gardeners.
And don’t forget the pup! There are a host of dog obedience training seminars, too.

Hotel Paso Del Norte and Aliviane will co-host this festive event in honor of National Recovery Month. This year, monies are being raised to support the renovation of the agencies Residential Treatment Center.  Your donation as part of this evening soiree will directly support the children, men and women who are healing from additions.  What to expect?  Lots of entertainment, a lovely three-course dinner and silent auction.
