  |     |   Pets, Summer, Things To Do

Don’t forget to pack a picnic. This park is an ideal place to spend an afternoon with friends and family alike. Whether you have a dog or not, you will find that the following parks offer plenty of escape from everyday life. This month, we are showcasing some of our favorite parks that not only welcome dogs to roam free they are also perfect spots for a picnic in the shade or morning stroll.  All of which are just a short drive from our apartments in El Paso.
Argal Park
With one of the region’s largest parks to play with your pup, Argal Park has open space and fenced-in areas for dogs of all shapes and sizes.  There’s also a real nice walking path that wanders through the park.
Kids love it too as there is a nice, shaded play area with slides, swings, and then some!
Pavo Real Enhanced Spray Park
If you have yet to head to the Spray Park, this summer is the time to do so.  Your dogs will love you for it.  At Pavo Real Enhanced Spray Park is completely fenced and has a colorful fire hydrant shaped water spray feature. Dogs need to be older than four months to play in the Park and must be voice controlled, cleaned up after, legally licensed and vaccinated, and wearing a visible dog license.
Here’s more insight from their website:
