There is so much to see and we have dedicated both our Blogs to the hometown that we love and hold near and dear to our hearts. Enjoy the highlights below, and if you have more ideas on what belongs on this list, please stop in at our office to share the love!
It’s a Super Value
Year after year, El Paso rates well with websites that scour the nation for great places to live, at a fair price. And with good reason. Did you know that the cost of living in El Paso, Texas averages 11% lower than the national rankings? Our economy is also in the limelight when it comes to affordable cities to call home. We are home to many large industries that buck the trends when the economy changes course.
The People Make Us Proud
From generational cowboys to award-winning talents and hometown heroes, our residents are by far the friendliest people you will ever want to hang out with. It’s an eclectic collection that makes El Paso the place to kick back, share stories and make new memories to share with generations to come. Hosting community potlucks, attending our friends’ kids’ soccer games and weekly family reunions are commonplace.
The Schools Get Good Grades, Too!
Throughout the city and outskirts as well, there are over 100+ schools that continue to achieve high marks. Among the best are 40 that consistently get “A’s” in the annual rankings and the balance reliably achieve a “B” score. When you compare that to the national average, you will see why our kids do well and often move on to college to continue their education.
The Weather is Wonderful
Winter, spring, fall … and summer – all of which offer some of the finest weather forecasts day after day. El Paso is a city that allows us to enjoy the change of the seasons, which allows us to experience the great outdoors, year-round. We’re proud of our nickname of “The Sun City”, which is well deserved; did you know that El Paso sees (approximately) 300 days of sunshine each year? With stats like that, it is quite possible we are the sunniest city in the whole stretch of Texas. No wonder why those snowbirds from the north flock this way every winter!
But wait! There is so much more to LOVE about El Paso. Come back and visit our blog soon as we will continue to share the love …
