Famous Dave’s All Star BBQ Series

Hungry or not, this national showdown of the top pit-masters in the country is as entertaining as it is fulfilling for all. It’s the World Food Championship Finals, which means only the best of the BBQ kings and queens will be serving up their most scrumptious servings for all to enjoy, with music, too! There are free samples for the first 200 to enter the gates and if you’re lucky, you can shake hands with the legendary BBQ King himself, Famous Dave Anderson!  Love ribs? Chicken? Cool Canyon Nights 
Here’s a perfect match for a date night under the stars in El Paso! Now in its 14^th season, Cool Canyon Nights offers a superstar lineup of talent for their performances at McKellingon Canyon Amphitheater. This year, and every year, West Star, Town-square Media and El Paso Live are proud to present performances of a variety of entertainment with a community spirit.

Eras Wine Tour 

From BBQ to bottles of wine and singalongs, El Paso continues to offer endless ways to enjoy the sunny days of summer. The Eras Wine Tour takes you to three of El Paso’s top wineries while you celebrate (and sip to) Taylor Swift's success.

The first stop is Vista Winery, where you will sip on a sweet Pinot, cool off with a buttery Chardonnay, or savor a local favorite, “La Vino Blanco Dulce.”  It’s a celebration of sorts as you sip and sing, yes, sing, as the wines are tastefully paired with Taylor Swift’s iconic albums. As best described on their website:

“This tasting experience is a tapestry of stories and flavors that capture the joyful and heartfelt spirit of Taylor’s 2019 album “Lover.”

Next, it’s Zin Valle Vineyard's opportunity to do the same as they pair the tunes of Taylor Swift’s “Evermore” with a sparkling Brut rose or a dry Brut, too.

Ending with a touch of emotion, La Vina Wintery embraces the fearless spirit of Taylor Swift’s 2020 “Folklore.”  Their creative twist to the tour is noted as “rich in story and emotion as the album itself – while pouring Sauvignon blanc, Rosé and the last great American Chardonnay.

VIVA! El Paso! 
This is a ‘must-do’ for families and friends every summer in El Paso. Come one, come all to see the finest musicians, actors, dancers, and technical crews present “Viva El Paso! It is a focal project for El Paso International & Cultural Arts (EPIC Arts) and, thanks to considerable donations and support from award-winning playwrights and composers, this year is another magnificent year highlighting original works and educational programs.
