MAKE A DASH FOR A SPLASH POOL OR SWIMMING IN EL PASO (continued)

Our first blog offered a start to the list of numerous splash pools in and around our community – all welcoming every opportunity to keep us cool through the end of the summer months.  We hope you have found some time to enjoy all that the city of El Paso has to offer our families at Cantera and continue to do so at these fun family spots listed below.

Marty Robbins

The Marty Robbins Spray Park features a splash pad with a large dump bucket and more than 20 water features such as spouts and fountains. The spray park has other amenities such as a shaded area, picnic tables, security lighting, security cameras, ADA accessible sidewalks and landscaping.

Salvador Rivas Jr. Park

From spray features to swings and so much more, the Salvador Rivas Jr. Park is a great place to celebrate summer or any occasion at all.  For more details, visit their Facebook page right here

Wet and Wild Waterworld

If you have yet to spend a day at Wet and Wild Waterworld, make your plans to do so now.  According to their website, the water adventure park has been offering fun in the sun for over 35 years and is the third oldest waterpark in the USA!  It’s located between Las Cruces and El Paso and worth the short trip for a long day of keeping cool throughout the rest of the summer months.

 Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center

One of the finest recreation facilities in the area, the Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center offers a wide variety of programs to keep us cool and having fun.  If you have always wanted to learn how to swim, there’s no better time than now to get you into the pool and paddling around to your heart’s content.   Their Fall Program starts October 10 and you can click here to see the details. For those who love to swim, that link will take you to a full list of activities in the pool and out.
